FAQ'S
-
Do I need to be on location at the time of the scheduled shoot? No you don’t! You are welcome to be on site when our pilot is, but it is not necessary. We make sure to ask the right questions beforehand, so we know what we need to capture on location without you there.
-
Can I book drone services for an entire day?Yes! When you request a quote, we will discuss the time requirements for your specific job. We charge an hourly booking rate in addition to the product fee.
-
How do you set your pricing? Our pricing for mapping missions consists of multiple factors: size of map, drone flight time, level of accuracy, and type of deliverable needed.
-
What if there is bad weather? The weather is always a factor when scheduling a drone flight when weather conditions are not good enough to fly, we will work with you to reschedule the flight within 48 hours.
-
Do you offer discounts?Yes we do! We offer discounts for long-term contracts, and for prepayment of services.
-
How soon will my flight be scheduled? We can schedule your flight within 3-5 days of you signing the service contract.
-
What is the difference between a map and single images?Unlike a regular photo, an orthomosaic image is a series of images taken and geometrically corrected to be scale and uniform, which can be used to measure true distances since it is an exact representation of the earth’s surface.
-
Are there any special licenses or permits that have to be acquired for shooting at my location?During the preflight planning process, we research your job location to see if there are any flight restrictions. If the location is in controlled airspace, we will request an authorization with the FAA for your flight.
